Tracy Chaplin

Tracy Chaplin is the creative behind Gretel Girl. The Adelaide College of the Arts graduate started the label from her home studio in 2010 and has since developed a strong following with her quirky range of products, including prints, jewellery and homewares. Preferring to work with reclaimed materials, Chaplin’s whimsical illustrations adorn vintage plates and fabrics, reclaimed wood and canvases, cushions, totes and tea towels. Her collections include bezel-set earrings and cufflinks, etched and laser cut brooches, and limited edition hand-drawn and decal illustrated travel mugs. A regular at art and design markets around Australia, Chaplin was recently commissioned to produce a range of cushions for the rooms and foyer of the Minima Hotel in North Adelaide. Gretel Girl is stocked in art and craft stores around Adelaide and Chaplin is often commissioned to produce custom pieces, including family portraits, for private clients. View Gretel Girl's CV here. Gretel Girl is represented by E for Ethel, Urban Cow Studios, and Art Images Gallery. Facebook Twitter Instagram Pinterest
