Established in 2004, Kitty Came Home was born from the desire to create products that are attractive, functional and individual. Katrina Weber, the originating muse of Kitty Came Home, and her creative partner Farley Wright produce unique stationery, wallets, wearables, purses and bags. Fabric designs are the inspiration for the products – from fine vintage floral prints to the bold statement prints of Marimekko. Each fabric lends fresh character and individuality to an item. The primary design element is PVC, which provides functional structure as well as protection for the fabrics. Kitty Came Home uses traditional tools and techniques in innovative ways and their design and production processes constantly evolve in response to customer interest. Demand for Kitty Came Home products is steadily increasing, keeping Weber and Wright constantly engaged in the challenging juggle of running a small business and developing their brand presence online and at design markets. This creative duo continues to be inspired by the fabrics that they work with and by the design options of their in-house production methods. Most of all, they find great reward in being part of a community of fellow designer/makers; the support and recognition of their peers is priceless.
