Your Guildhouse team

You might have noticed a few new faces and voices in recent weeks.  We love to get to know you and your practice, and we figured you might like to know more about us!
The Guildhouse team is small but effective.  We might only share 3.5 Full time equivalent positions between us, but we sure pack a punch!
Here’s some insights into our newest team members.

Debbie Pryor – Artistic Programs Manager

Curator and writer Debbie Pryor has run galleries and festivals across Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne for the past 18 years. Working at key craft and design institutions such as JamFactory, CraftSouth, Object, UTS DabLab, Powerhouse Museum, and Craft Victoria. Debbie also has experience sitting on the operational Boards of ARI’s such as Firstdraft (Sydney), Bluestone Collection (Melbourne) and NorthCity4 (Melbourne). She has recently returned to Adelaide after a decade interstate, and to her original training in ceramics.
I’m thrilled to be working within a members based organisation, advocating for greater opportunities for artists and creating accessible programs for artists to deepen their engagement with their practice and community.

Heidi Kenyon – Programs Officer

Heidi Kenyon brings with her a breadth of experience in the arts including project management, teaching roles and post-graduate research, and has worked for institutions including Flinders University City Gallery, Carclew, the University of South Australia and Hahndorf Academy. A practicing sculpture and installation artist, Heidi is passionate about professional excellence in the arts.

Having recently worked with Guildhouse as an artist, I have had a unique insight into the passion and commitment of the team. I feel proud to be part of this organisation that lives and breathes the arts and at every opportunity truly champions the contribution of its members.

Bridget Hodder
Bridget Hodder – Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Bridget has qualifications in writing and communications and a burning passion for the arts. As an illustrator, musician and comic, she has an active presence in the arts sector, but she is also a designer, social media and digital content coordinator.  She has written extensively for various arts and street press publications, and has a huge appetite for content creation including film, animation, podcasts and PR.

My main goal is to aide Adelaide and South Australia in its artistic growth. We have such a fantastic melting-pot of artists and I want them to have the spotlight and paid work they deserve.
