Artists’ Futures Fund
Investing in Artists. Strengthening the Sector. Securing the Future.
For 60 years, Guildhouse has supported South Australian artists, makers and designers through advocacy, professional development, mentorship and sector leadership. The Artists’ Futures Fund invites individuals, businesses and organisations to invest in the next 60 years of artist-led support.
This Fund recognises a simple truth: ‘Artists thrive when the organisations that support them are strong, stable and future-focused.’
The Artists’ Futures Fund is not about short-term project delivery. It is about building the foundations that allow artists and the creative industries that depend on them to flourish over decades.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Sustained Support for Artists
Contributions help ensure the long-term delivery of programs artists rely on, including:
- Career-defining guidance and professional development such as the Catapult Mentorship, Inform, Advice Bank, Workshops and Guildhouse Greets
- Paid artistic programs opportunities such as The Guildhouse Fellowship, The Collections Project and exhibition opportunities
- Emerging artist pathways
- Equity-based access for artists experiencing disadvantage
A Resilient, High-Performing Organisation
Support strengthens Guildhouse as essential cultural infrastructure by enabling:
- Financial resilience beyond funding cycles
- Investment in digital systems, evaluation tools and platforms
- Staff expertise, leadership continuity and organisational knowledge
- Strong governance and long-term strategic planning
Advocacy, Leadership and Impact Beyond the Individual
The Fund also supports Guildhouse’s role as a sector leader by enabling:
- Advocacy for fair pay, conditions and visibility for visual artists and craftspeople
- Policy engagement and research
- Strategic partnerships across government, business and philanthropy
This approach appeals equally to individual supporters who care deeply about artists, and to businesses seeking meaningful, values-aligned cultural investment with long-term impact.
