Extend your practice and learn how to overglaze with enamel on glazed wares with artist in residence at JamFactory Huang Fei. Bring along two of your glazed small dishes or a tile larger than 7cm.
Overglaze enameling reached its heights at the manufacturing centre in Jingdezhen, where Huang Fei is based. An established contemporary ceramic artist also working in calligraphy and ink painting. He is one of the first artists from Jingdezhen to exhibit outside of China, and is committed to sharing his experience and developing his unique expressive, contemporary, porcelain both within China and internationally. Huang Fei is in Adelaide thanks to Guildhouse, JamFactory and the Yiwei Art Foundation.
