An outcome of The Guildhouse Collections Project + City of Adelaide for Tarnanthi, Crista Bradshaw has engaged with the City of Adelaide’s collections to explore how its archives, monuments and public artworks reflect its cultural identity and the inclusion, or absence, of First Nations histories.

Giuseppe Matteo Pappalardo presents Opuntia and Olea: Stories of Adaptation for The Guildhouse Collections Project with the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium of South Australia.

Through a suite of richly embellished ceramic sculptures—echoing the artistic traditions of his native Sicily—the artist explores the story of the prickly pear (Opuntia) and the olive tree (Olea europaea).
