Over the last couple of years, Access2Arts have held a continually evolving project called “The Exquisite Familiar” which engaged disabled artists from Adelaide, the Barossa Valley and the Eyre Peninsula. Wall-to-Wall artworks of three artists from the “The Exquisite Familiar” cohort, Dan Withey, John ‘Bundy’ Bannerman and Jekio Blackstreak.

John Foubister: Seen and Thought

John Foubister produces paintings and drawings developed from his interest in philosophy, the role of the imagination in creating realities, and from a love of nature. Recently he has been exploring the relationship between humanity and the natural world, with a particular interest in Animist belief systems.

Zhuzhu (Guiyong Zhu): Between Earth and Ether

Zhuzhu’s artistic journey spans from Shanghai, where she worked as an art consultant collaborating with interior designers and architects, to across Adelaide, where her murals and installations enrich public spaces across South Australia & beyond. Her practice is deeply rooted in public art and placemaking, with a strong focus on community engagement.
