Huang Fei will lead you through a series of demonstrations and provide insights into the fine qualities of Qing Hua (blue and white cobalt) at this hands on workshop. You will be provided with a porcelain tile you can take home and are welcome to bring along your own porcelain vessel to paint. Huang Fei will provide an overview of the history of Qing Hua. Strengthen your understanding of this specialised technique, from this leading expert.
Huang Fei is an established contemporary ceramic artist based in Jingdezhen, the famous city of porcelain. He specialises in calligraphy, ink painting and blue and white painting on porcelain known as Qing Hua. He is one of the first artists from Jingdezhen to exhibit outside of China, and is committed to sharing his experience and developing his unique expressive, contemporary, porcelain both within China and internationally.
