On behalf of the Guildhouse Board and staff we are delighted to announce the appointment of Beth Neate as Chief Executive Officer of Guildhouse.
A well-respected arts leader committed to furthering the South Australian arts sector, Beth comes to Guildhouse as the former Head of Production and Development at the South Australian Film Corporation and the current Chair of Tutti Arts.

She brings an excellent and diverse experience to the role and is ideally suited to lead Guildhouse into an exciting future. Beth Neate is a respected arts and creative industries leader with 20 years of experience in sector advocacy, program delivery, community arts and cultural development, audience engagement and film and television production.
As the former Head of Production and Development at the South Australian Film Corporation, Beth oversaw state government investment in the screen industry, driving record levels of local production and establishing new alliances in support of South Australian screen practitioners.
Born and raised in Kaurna Country, Beth’s infinite curiosity has led to a rich and diverse work history across Australia and overseas for agencies, including the United Nations and the ABC. As a proud disability ally, Beth also serves as the Chair of Tutti Arts.
Bringing to the role a wealth of experience in fostering innovation and delivering outstanding arts and cultural experiences, Beth will be building upon Guildhouse’s strong legacy to support South Australian visual artists, craftspeople and designers in building and maintaining sustainable careers.
Beth will commence at Guildhouse on 13 January 2025.
