Craftsouth presented the Imagining Interiors exhibition in partnership with JamFactory from 21 May–10 July 2011 at JamFactory Gallery One, Lion Arts Centre, 19 Morphett Street in Adelaide. The accompanying catalogue features essays by Dr Joy McEntee, a specialist in Gothic literature, and Wendy Walker.

The exhibition concluded the Craftsouth project Imagining Interiors, curated by writer and visual arts specialist Wendy Walker, which engaged craftspeople, designers and visual artists—Khai Liew (furniture design), Kirsten Coelho (ceramics), Jessica Loughlin (glass), Sean O’Connell (jewellery), Julia Robinson (textiles, sculpture), Roy Ananda (sculpture), Mary-Jean Richardson (painting), Nico Kelly (lighting design), Honor Freeman (ceramics) and Amy Patterson (photography)—to produce new works in response to Gothic fiction including Elizabeth Jolley’s The Well, the 19th-century stories of Edgar Allan Poe and the writings of HP Lovecraft.
