Workshop: Using Transparent Glass in Mosaics

This workshop is for advanced beginners to intermediate or experienced mosaic artists wanting to learn more about transparent glass.

Using transparent glass is often overlooked but using transparent glass as a tesserae allows you to use light to enhance your work. Transparent smalti with a white background adds depth to a mosaic, using it with a transparent background allows light to pass through your mosaic and with mirror the light seems to shine from the mosaic.
