In 2016 the Asia Pacific Space Design Alliance (APSDA) congress will gather in Adelaide for the third international conference to be held over three days at Adelaide Convention Centre.

APSDA 2016 is a multi-disciplinary design conference promoting shared understandings of design and space; engaging with the Asia Pacific region and regional South Australia; and actively engaging conference participants via various activities, design dinners, masterclasses, exhibitions and a dedicated student program.

A feature of the APSDA conference will be an exhibition of finely designed and crafted works, curated to the theme of the conference ‘HOME’. Within the Conference Exhibitors’ Hall four rooms will be designed featuring the work of these outstanding craftspeople and designers.

As a feature of 2016 APSDA, local designers Julie Pieda and Claire Kneebone will create an exhibition of finely designed and crafted works curated to the theme of HOME. As part of the exhibition, The Beaumont Studio and Guildhouse are partnering to create a bespoke tile designed by Stephanie James-Manttan.
