This customised workshop for makers, the first in a new series will explore the variety of moulding solutions and casting abilities attainable from silicone molds. Grant Evans from Adelaide Moulding and Casting Supplies will present an introduction to product types, materials, release agents, casting mediums, pigments and finishes available. Members will be able to create a 1 piece silicone mould from a demonstration product and cast using a choice of either polyurethane resin, casting plaster or clay. Workshop cost includes all materials and printed information on products.
