Digital experts sought for Round 2 of the reVision Tech Mentor Program

Guildhouse invites South Australia’s digital experts to share their expertise with local artists to fill a crucial gap in the visual arts sector.

Do you have half a day to share your digital marketing, design or tech skills with an artist? Guildhouse is seeking volunteers for the second round of the revision Tech Mentor program to upskill artists and further their professional practices.

The reVision Tech Mentor program supports South Australian artists by identifying the digital skills they need the most and then matching them with industry professionals with the corresponding expertise.

The first round of the program saw 13 digital experts mentoring 27 artists working across a wide range of disciplines to hone a range of technical skills that included website development, social media strategy, using design software and even virtual and augmented reality platforms. The program was met with great enthusiasm from both parties, with meaningful learning outcomes demonstrated.

We are seeking mentors for the second round of the program.

Prospective mentors are invited to donate 4 hours of their time to work with artists either one-on-one or in small groups, or alternatively share their expertise with the artistic community with a 40 minute webinar.
