Intersection Regional Tour – Burra

Guildhouse and Country Arts SA are hosting a community event at the Burra Town Hall to celebrate, gather and share collectively as part of the Intersection Regional Tour in the Clare Valley and Burra regions. 

Hear from artists Meg Mader and Julie Lloyd, sharing their experiences of working as a regional artist and meet the representatives from Guildhouse and Country Arts SA. 

Nature Festival workshop at SA Museum

Join multidisciplinary environmental artist Swapna Namboodiri and South Australian Museum scientist Professor Mike Lee for a special evening event – Art, Wisdom and Wine: Creative Flow and the Nature Photographer of the Year. The event includes an exclusive after-hours guided tour of the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year exhibition, followed by an inspiring, hands-on workshop exploring the creativity of sustainability.

Brown Falconer Artist in Residence

Guildhouse and Brown Falconer Architects celebrate South Australian multidisciplinary artist Thom Buchanan as the inaugural Brown Falconer Artist in Residence. Supporting expanded cross-disciplinary practices through meaningful exchange with the studio. A foyer display during History Festival and special Finnissage event with new works at the end of June.

Kyoko Hashimoto: Eight Million Deities (Yaoyorozu no Kami)

An outcome of The Guildhouse Fellowship, Japanese-born South Australian artist Kyoko Hashimoto presents an Eight Million Deities (Yaoyorozu no Kami) – a culmination of a year of intensive research by the artist during a pivotal time in her life.

Ana María Méndez Salgado: Unbound Diaries

Ana is a Colombian/Australian visual storyteller with an eye for creating unique worlds and characters through sequential narrative, illustration and animation, often inspired by her love for fantasy and magic realism. She’s fond of interweaving memory and identity through visual poetry, transporting audiences to realms of wonder and mystery.
