Learn how to style and photograph your artwork like a pro.
We all know how important it is to have high-quality images of our work, whether for grant applications, social media or exhibition proposals, however taking them can be daunting! Expensive cameras, the right lighting, the best backdrop, props, editing, resolution, the list goes on. Professional photography is often necessary but can be expensive, and we all need extra photos in between booking professional photoshoots.
In this hands-on workshop creative all-rounder Sharmonie Cockayne will break down the basics of styling and photographing your work, without the need for expensive cameras or studio lighting. Focussing on a more accessible approach you will learn how to use your own creativity and style, natural lighting, smartphones, and photo editing apps to improve your confidence and get the best out of what you have available.
Please bring along to this practical workshop:
- An object/a piece of your work to photograph and any props you would like to try
- Device to take photos on (camera phone, digital camera etc)
- Device to edit photos on (camera phone or a laptop etc)
