Intersection Regional Tour: Fleurieu Peninsula
1 – 4 May 2024
Based in Goolwa
Intersection is a bespoke professional development program connecting artists, craftspeople, designers and creatives in regional communities across South Australia.
We are coming to learn, exchange, showcase and celebrate how meaningful, valuable and dynamic lived experiences of developing creative practices can be. Strengthening professional practice, capability, confidence and connection. At each main stop on the tour we will host an open community event to celebrate, gather and share collectively.
Throughout the Intersection tour, we open the call out for locals to book us in for a ‘Studio Visit’ and/or join us at the Community event, if you haven’t connected with Guildhouse or Country Arts SA before, please join in, we welcome connecting with you!
Intersection is delivered in collaboration and partnership with Guildhouse and Country Arts SA with principal support from The Ades Family Foundation and a travel grant from Gordon Darling Foundation.
Studio Visits
Held between 1 – 4 May 2024
A Studio Visit is a free meeting with our team to learn more about and support your arts practice – this can be in a making space, in a cafe or a walk and talk through town.
Studio visits are a way to connect with the arts community in a location familiar to you and share your unique voice through discussion, exchanging ideas and building relationships.
It’s time set aside to share ideas and stories, what you’re working on now and what you’re looking to in the future. They are informal, professional, respectful intersections for us an organisation (Guildhouse + Country Arts SA) to meet with artists to learn, share and explore what we can develop, encourage or connect during and beyond that visit. The studio visits throughout this tour, aim to alleviate the isolation that commonly accompanies arts practice, particularly for those living regionally or remotely.
