The Office Space exhibition of works from Neville Cichon offers a unique insight into some of the reoccurring themes at the heart of this photographer’s practice.

Bringing together current works in conversation with pieces from recent years, this exhibition explores Neville’s relationship to Australian coastal worlds, whilst prompting viewers to recognise the imminent threat posed to these environments.

Neville’s current works have been produced as part of an artist residency at Sauerbier House and as part of the 2018 Shimmer Photographic Biennale. The works have manifested from an immersion within the coastal environment of beaches, dunes and cliff walks.

The resulting works incorporate many styles of photography including abstract, studio, thermal imaging, black and white landscape and more. The works are focussed on the impact of climate change on coastal environments with rising sea levels and coastal erosion at the forefront.

Neville’s work is part of a new Guildhouse initiative to showcase recent graduates within the unique location of the Lion Arts Centre in the Adelaide CBD.
